Of all the seasons of the Big Brother franchise and its spin-offs, not much is spoken of the 2016 one-season version, Big Brother: Over the Top. Also hosted by regular presenter Julie Chen, the ten-episode series is perhaps best remembered for the dramatic hush that fell on the house when she announced that Donald Trump had won the 2016 presidential election.BBOTT - as it is often stylized - was different from the original Big Brother format in that there was a greater focus on live, unedited footage. 7 Morgan And Alex Willett Are Fashion, Travel And Fitness Enthusiasts
One of the interesting aspects of Big Brother: Over the Top was that it actually featured two sisters: Morgan and Alexandra 'Alex' Willett from Texas. Although the latter is in fact three years older, it was Morgan who made more of an impact, emerging the overall winner of the show.
After Big Brother, Morgan Willett continued her reality television career by joining both Ex on the Beach and a season of The Challenge. She famously became linked to Challenge legend, Johnny Bananas. According to Morgan and Alex's social media profiles, the sisters are now focused on their passions of fitness, fashion and travel.
6 Jason Roy Is Still Living Off His 'Big Brother' Fame On Social Media
Jason Roy was a supermarket cashier from Swansea, Massachusetts when he was cast on Big Brother: Over the Top. Still only 27 at the time, Roy used his sassy personality to maximum effect, going all the way to the runner-up position.
On his social media pages, he still often posts about his time on the show, as well as developments in the regular Big Brother seasons.
5 Kryssie Ridolfi Is Pursuing A Musical Career
Then-Illinois waitress Krystina 'Krissie' Ridolfi finished Big Brother: Over the Top in third place. In the years since, she has been pursuing a musical career with her rock band called Evil Engine. According to the bio on her Instagram page, Ridolfi 'fronts that band you don't like.'
She also makes a reference to her time on BBOTT, saying, 'I lift heavy. You hated me on that reality show.'
4 Danielle Lickey Is An LGBTQ Activist
Danielle Lickey was described as 'one of the strongest physical and mental house guests of the season.' She managed a sixth-place finish on BBOTT, having been evicted after 50 days on the show.
These days, Lickey is more focused on her family life and activism for the LQBTQ community. She runs a YouTube channel called Living Like Dikes. She also often posts photos of her partner Zhane and their son, Steven on social media.
3 Justin Duncan Is A Seafood Restaurant Owner
Justin Duncan is one of the BBOTT contestants who doesn't have a very strong social media presence. He was a seafood restaurant owner when he joined the show, and according to a Twitter account that is purportedly run by his mom and siblings, he is still in conducting the same business today.
Duncan was one of the six guests who were memorably stunned by the news that Hillary Clinton had lost the presidential race to businessman Donald Trump.
2 Whitney Hogg Is Married, With One Daughter
Whitney Hogg was a 21-year-old medical assistant from Whitesburg, Kentucky when she joined the cast of Big Brother: Over the Top. She lasted 43 days on the show and was finally evicted in seventh place, on the same day as Alex Willett.
In October 2017, Hogg got married to her boyfriend Winston Lee, with whom she also has one daughter. Lee had been very supportive of her from the beginning of her time on the show, saying, "I don't know if CBS could have chosen somebody with a bigger heart."
He proposed shortly after she was evicted, which was a very worthwhile consolation for Hogg. "I may not have won Big Brother, but I won this guy for life, and that's better than any amount of money!" she wrote on her Facebook page, as was reported on their local WYMT news outlet.
1 Monte Massongill Is A Father And Musician
Engineer associate Monte Massongill was the second contestant to be evicted from Big Brother: Over the Top. This came as a bit of a surprise, considering he had been made the first Head of Household (HOH) for that season.
After Big Brother, Monte Massongill joined MTV's Ex on the Beach, as Morgan Willett's ex. It is not clear whether Massongill is still pursuing his engineering background, with nothing related to the field being mentioned in any of his bios on social media. On IG, he describes himself as 'Mountain Man/Drummer/Fitness/Outdoorsman/God-fearing.'
