He became famous for his disclosures regarding the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server as secretary of state. He was fired in 2017 by Donald Trump after he testified to Congress regarding the FBI’s investigation of possible collusion between Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia.
