She was raised in Arkansas.

Josie was born in emergency C-section at just 25 weeks at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, weighing only 1 pound and 6 ounces. On December 18, 2009, Josie’s bowel perforated due to a which she had to be rushed to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

By February 15, 2010, she had started getting stronger and was off the ventilator. However, on April 12, 2010, Josie’s vital signs had dropped and she was finally released from the hospital on June 3, 2010.

She is lactose intolerant.
