See Mary J. Blige Shine in Custom Dundas at the Super Bowl Halftime Show
Mary J. Blige rocked this year's Super Bowl.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul showed out in her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, appearing alongside rappers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. Among the rap acts, the "Be Without You" singer stood out with her R&B hits "Family Affair"—performed with the viral dance moves and all—and "No More Drama."
With the help of stylist Jason Rembert, the multi-hyphenate chose a shimmering two-piece leotard and a matching pair of her trademark thigh-high boots, both custom made by Dundas. The outfit featured long sleeves and crisscross detailing, as well as a matching belt, a cowboy hat, and fingerless gloves, all decorated with a glittery leopard print.
The "My Life '06" singer also rocked platinum-blonde, waist-length hair, and diamond hoop earrings from her Sister Love collaboration with designer Simone I. Smith.

The star's stage look is designer Peter Dundas' second Super Bowl look, after designing two looks for Shakira's 2020 halftime show performance with Jennifer Lopez. The looks, a red minidress with a removable corset and a gold bomber jacket and hotpants, also utilized plenty of shimmer and crystals.
Ahead of the show, Blige spoke with People about being the only female performer in the jam-packed halftime show, saying that she "love[s] the fact that I'm respected by my male peers like that, I always have been."
"To actually have Dr. Dre reach out and ask was just huge, because Dr. Dre is one of the most important people in hip-hop, and as a producer, as a writer, as a rapper. He's just the one, you know?" she said of the producer, who made the beat for "Family Affair."
