Mike Mathis Obituary-Death News; Longtime Rodeo Announcer, Mike Mathis Passes Away Tragically

on Wednesday, a horrible death occurred involving a longstanding announcer for rodeos. Over the course of more than twenty-five years, Mike Mathis served as the speaker at the Dixie National Rodeo.

The rodeo community has reported that Mike Mathis passed away unexpectedly this morning as a result of a medical-related issue. A well-known and well-liked member of the town, the cowboy was a revered figure in the neighborhood.

The unfortunate event was announced by Commissioner Andy Gipson in a letter that read, “With great sadness, I learned this morning that my good friend, the one and only Mike Mathis, passed away and went to be with the Lord.
